Lol... Even when I was working, it'd still find time to shop, without waiting until the worst possible day to do so, especially just before Christmas.
I detest crowds with a passion, so even if I was tired, I'd still make the effort to go at a time when I could shop in a relaxed/stress-free environment [early morning/late evening], particularly now as supermarkets are open 24/7
Besides, I thought you were going out to a hotel this year, so you shouldn't need much in the way of food before the shops open again on Boxing Day!
