I was using a PL-71 in my main rig until I came across an Elite Rock 2. Loved the midrange of the Pioneer, preferred the bottom end and flexibility of arm choice with the Rock.

I wouldn't take them if they paid me $50! Reminds me of some Sansui speakers I owned in the early '80's. 6mm plywood box, no division between drivers inside, no internal braces. Playing on the Technics name ,I dare say!! Not too far from me , but the last pair of speakers I bought like that , some Akai's , I paid a pound for , to save them going in the tip.
