Yes , if we're being pedantic , it does what it's supposed to do However , like you I think , as far as SQ goes , it's excellent .

I've just this minute plugged a Linear PSU into my superhub and initial impressions are very good indeed

Haven't gone down that road yet Jerry , however Garys system was sounding excellent when I heard it a few weeks ago . It would have been a bit of a faff to ask him to A /B fuses inside his casework so we didn't go there . I tust his ears anyhow .

I look forward to your findings Jerry . Are you fitting these to plugs or internally ?

I've one SR Black fuse atm - and have put it into the mains plug at the wall which feeds the mains block which feeds the whole system.

Astonishing sq improvement from that. Just crazy.

No, I probably won't go the internal fuse route - I'm not cumfy with that.

Yes I agree about changing the internal fuses , you have too many boxes to do this anyway

My first port of call would be the plug feeding my mains block . Are your amps plugged into the mains block too ?

Where are you fitting the next SR Black mate ?

EDIT : This linear PSU into the Virginmedia superhub has yielded a very nice improvement in SQ BTW . Looks like it will be staying put

DAC, pre and power amps all come from that mains block. That's all I need as I use my laptop as source.

Where for the 2nd one? - probably the power amp as it's the main current drawer. What do you think?
