    What lessons is dem power meters telling you about how much power the MBLs need to do loud?

    0.1 - 1 Watt for typical decent volumes.
    10 Watts max for most big classical stuff played at suitable levels
    ~25 Watts for Dream Theater "at 11" ... I can't even imagine getting close to peak power.

    As well as the power meters there are DC and Heat (thermal) warning lights. I can't foresee them ever coming on.

    I seem to remember Blues For Klook using some power. Try that at 11 and I bet you see the needles move quite a bit more in places.

    Silly power. I'm freaked, as you should able to tell from the erratic camera movement!

    Sound is duff on this one the camera mic is freaked too.

    Listening now to a Bach organ recital .... sustained full-range chords quite loud and the needles are sitting around 1 to 3W pretty consistently.
    Most of it is at less than 0.1W.

    I've always said the MBLs are easy to drive.

    I can see the appeal in the philips gear gerry looks superb so much so ive just bought an FE 960 on ebay....love the green lights looks funky has 7 inputs....
