You guys think this is worth the starting price and how much would you pay?
Looking at something like this but not sure whether it'll be a justifiable purchase if quality is poor.

£30
It's going to cost me around £20 in fuel too... or is this a better purchase http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322147102605 ?
Nearer to me so could go higher?
Thank you,

Personally i would not pay any more than £30 for any system like that tbh..
I agree with Andre, those old bits are barely Hi-Fi.
What's the rush Taz? Start a thread in the 'Blank Canvas' area saying what you want to achieve. Outline your budget and what type of gear you want. You'll get some good advice. Don't just buy any old thing. There are plenty of bad choices out there and some good ones. Good sounds don't have to cost a fortune if you buy wisely.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
Thanks guys, no rush just looking at some new kit and thought these might be good budget systems. You guys are right tbh and I should really buy wisely, bought tat previously only to find it to be not as I thought. Good thing I asked here before running blindly and I really appreciate the advice.
Think I'm going to wait till I've saved a little more than do as you suggested Geoff and start a thread.
Thanks again guys
Taz
Personally I'd say the Pioneer system is a very nice way to start off in Hifi separates. I'd go to £50 for it.
Engineers: fixing problems you didn't know you had in ways you don't understand.
I don't know, that Kenwood would be allright, put some decent speakers on the end of it and not the rubbish it comes with.
For £30 quid of course, Nothing more, And forget the turntable if you want decent replay as they are the next best thing to junk
