    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp, fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    If I remember correctly they were hooked up to a spectral pre and densen power amp in the toilet. Come on guys now be real, where else would you expect ADM9's, spectral and densen to work optimally other than a toilet.

    I think it's because the ADM9s sound a bit "farty".

    Anyway come on - who has bought direct from China or HK or Taiwan on ebay. Was it a problem or did you get a bargain, don't you find it a bit strange that they can make a profit at those prices?

    Were any of you tempted but chickened out due to the valve (mini) cartel telling you not to touch it on the other forums, so many scare stories. Well who is running scared - huh!
