Brings up the question of what you think you know whats worth money and whats not....for me its more of the fun then anything popular demand but i know where it will end up they always do their was a free pair of kefs not long ago went of ebay for £245 not sure if sold the techie will no doubt go on their too unless someone bought it to use which is fair enough but theirs more competition then you think :mental

I might of gone more mental if it was something special just aswell

One of my pet hates seeing equipment selling for stooped money. Set asking prices for certain things. The laugh is these certain items are sadly not what they are cracked up to be imho

I'm minded of a pair of Monitor Golds in Lancaster cabs in lovely condition that appeared on Gumtree locally a year or two ago for £400. They were snapped up in minutes. They re-appeared a week or so later with some story about a recently deceased uncle or such and were priced around £1200 IIRC. Some people are shameless.

Nice price on an LFD PA2M (SE) dual mono power amp on eBay, first I've seen for sale second hand. A real "end game" amp built to last a lifetime.
Mana Acoustics Racks / Bright Star IsoNodes Decoupling >> Allo DigiOne Player >> Pedja Rogic's Audial Model S DAC + Pioneer PL-71 turntable / Vista Audio phono-1 mk II / Denon PCL-5 headshell / Reson Reca >> LFD DLS >> LFD PA2M (SE) >> Royd RR3s.

And compared to the trendier studio monitors crossing over into hi fi land - Yamaha, JBL - reasonably priced. Love the cabinet work!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
