Some of that material was in the wings already with Giles Giles & Fripp band..in which for instance 'I Talk To The Wind' was originally recorded as demo with Judy Dyble on vocal. Alser "Why Don't You Just Drop In" was played at early Crimson gigs.
Anyone who cannot get enough of the First two KC albums must must have the McDonald & Giles self titled album.
I do draw a line after the 4th album ['Islands']

Prog can take a run & jump as far as im concerned because their is only two prog bands i am/always will be seriously into & that is early ELP & King Crimson. Take or leave the rest, none of them can ever hold a candle to ELP & KC imho..

Even " Under The Sky" was written during the Giles Giles & Fripp era of which Pete was a part of unawares to some.

Ever noticed that the 'Still' LP Cat number is K43501, ELP 'Brain Salad Surgery' is K53501
