I too have caller display and if the word "International" comes up, or a number I don't recognise, I ignore it completely.

Could not agree more with that. I once asked an employee to grab some heavy duty scissors from the hardware as we were on a building site with no other trades (he was unaware that I required them to open a "stiff clear sharp packaging" that housed a small water pump) He came back with a heavy duty pair.........you guest it........ in a........."stiff clear sharp packaging"

I did not or could not make that up! The scissors got opened with a 12 ins angle grinder and when freed i used the scissors to open the pump

What gets you saying 'for fuck sake'? I went for a new vertical blind for our bay window, if the shop fits it they have to fit child safety hooks into the wall for the adjusting chords,I don't have kids, it's health n safety law apparently, I'll fit it myself, for fuck sake

I know these things can be taken too far. It is dangerous though... I dont have em but when kids were younger I always had the cords well out of reach. I know someone who lost a kid that way. I also had to build a fence round my pond in case. I still need that and it will stay for the lifetime of the pond ...

back to your point, my next door neighbour makes me say it 50 times a day
