Could not agree more with that. I once asked an employee to grab some heavy duty scissors from the hardware as we were on a building site with no other trades (he was unaware that I required them to open a "stiff clear sharp packaging" that housed a small water pump) He came back with a heavy duty pair.........you guest it........ in a........."stiff clear sharp packaging"
I did not or could not make that up! The scissors got opened with a 12 ins angle grinder and when freed i used the scissors to open the pump

I know these things can be taken too far. It is dangerous though... I dont have em but when kids were younger I always had the cords well out of reach. I know someone who lost a kid that way. I also had to build a fence round my pond in case. I still need that and it will stay for the lifetime of the pond ...
