    Those look very nice.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Thank you Tony. Well spotted, I was very interested in them, but they are just way too big for my modest listening room. A pair of 15" SRM's in tidy cabinets at a real world price, hope that chap gets a buyer soon. I am going to have to be disciplined and go for 10" Dimensions or 12" classic Tannoys.

These are nice too. A good alternative to the Chatsworth (cheaper too).

Hi Geoff, we are all on the same page they seem decent, but I enquired of the seller advised the units are 315a not the 3128 (I think you preferred the results from this driver), any advice?

I do prefer the 3128, but you are unlikely to find Cheviots with these in. They were used in the Cheviot II, which was only on the market for 11 months and consequently are pretty rare.

The earlier HPD Cheviot in question here is fine though. The 12" HPD drive unit is basically a 12" Monitor Gold with a different cone.

Funny isn't it, I put up a frankly better pair of Cheviots with recent full Lockwood recone for £650 before Christmas and got just one reply...
I have another pair of monitor golds in cabs, will pm you.
