I could only afford the Elac at the time.
I remember the Paraline. I might even still have an article on it somewhere.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

If you come across it, would be interested to see again, might even get my friend to make some cabinets, the Elac 8" would be a bit rare these days.

Originally, my two Paralines were driven off a homemade 1 Watt transistor amplifier, pretty loud on that too.

They look like they may be the same drivers, just the cone colour and the whizzers on the Rehdeko ones painted gold.

They do look very similar don't they... but I guess I have enough speakers for the time being... 3 sets is enough for anyone... mind you I did just sell my Klipsch (which I hope I don't regret!)

Oh my word Alex.... maybe you have a problem... a very nice problem to have though.... if I had the room I would have kept every speaker I ever owned which would amount to quite a hoard.....which are the ones you use though ? I'm guessing Spendor

I think that it it, I have kept most of my speakers over the many years. At the moment playing the Beatles are BBC Rogers LS3/6 fitted with the Rogers Export Monitor bass units. This really makes them early Rogers Export Monitors.

They are in my view, just a better Spendor BC1, I have about four pairs of these too.
