have a go at using the 2132 in the Line out WITHOUT any Opamp in the HeadAmp socket.

I found it cleared the bottom end up a bit, might impact on the bass problems your having?

This way is the best I've heard yet - of any opamp combination, so give it a whirl at least!

Theres a lot more people into changing the Opamps in their Dac, and all have different combinations which work for them.

I think it would be great to have a sticky in the forum with everyone pitching in what they are running in their Dac and why they like it?
Just a wee comment maybe, "Good bass and soundstaging" "Great soundstage" that kind of thing?

Its getting difficult to keep up with what everyones tried, their preferences etc, just think this would be a cool thing to be able to refer to?

Perhaps, also, a side-by-side comparison would be nice if some of you live near by and are able to organize something like this. It would be really nice to read your impressions, too.

Yeah I hear you, but wouldn't it be good to know what other people are runing in their Dacs anyway?

Its becoming obvious that theres so many factors which affect the sound of the Dac, would be good maybe to have a "database" to refer to - even if just as a guide and not a rulebook?

Just my £0.02 worth anyways

Tried it without the 5532 in the HPA. A small improvement I think but I still feel like the bass is turned up too much.
Just as an experiment I will try the 4562 in the line and the 2132 in the HPA.

God I hate these numbers. Can we call them Fred or Joe or something like that?
