A year or more ago, I would have agreed. But they are very thin on the ground now. There was a dud one with a £200 asking price not long ago. When you think about it, a good ADC, although sounding different, ranks alongside the vintage Deccas and Ortofons for sheer sound quality and those command big money now.Originally Posted by Barry

No. Don't know those. They look very interesting. Can't figure out how the bass loading works. Looks like a small bass driver in front of an open baffle ABR. Weird!

It would have cost a bomb. But the tuner and tape decks are practically worthless - £200 for the lot, £50 for the digital processor, maybe £500 for the power amp and CDP. Speakers a couple of hundred, tops. Realistically the whole caboodle isn't worth more than 2 grand.It is quality, though!
