It is. It actually sounds better than my Orbe set up. I have fitted a LDA power supply to it too. Come along to NEBO 6 and have a listen.

Thanks for that Brian. I'm picking up a Pioneer PL71 this afternoon though and i have a sneaky feeling it may usurp my Techie. I have been after one for quite some time but they are as rare as rocking horse sh1t on the second hand market and in good nick. I may have to call upon someone with better soldering skills than mine to sort the electronic side of things with it. I won't be doig a Blue Peter job on it though as it has a great seventies chic about it.A little coconut oil and elbow grease should do it.Doesn't look cheap an cheerful Steve . Looks very nice indeed .
