Good to hear from you. Nice one, mate. I thought that might be the case, as the Techniboots would've been damping some resonances, present in the signal path, which now don't exist with the ETP in situ. Therefore, there's no point in damping what isn't there!

All is the same now, apart from having a Mike New ETP platter (and Nagaoka glass mat), instead of the Funk MKI platter, shown. I also no longer use the Michell clamp, but a 'YNWaN special' instead. Oh yes, the SPU is different, too!
