I bought a brand new one early eighties. Unpacked it and checked it over. Very sloppy main bearing and slack arm bearings. I took it back and got a refund after a bit of an argument with the dealer. Bought a Technics SL-1800 instead, great little TT. Different league altogether for just a little more cash.
