Thumbs up Hello from the madhouse

    Just saying Hi!

Alan (Firebottle) prompted me to say my hellos here after we first met recently.

    So, here I am .

I'm using digital sources into valves and horns:
    LampizatOr TranspOrt
    LampizatOr Golden Gate DAC
Firebottle Kin (a keeper from Alan ), normally use a Townshend Allegri passive attenuator.
Ming Da UK MC998-A monoblocks (loaners, keepers if I can afford them!), normally use heavily modified Ming Da UK MC 805A monos.
hORNS FP15 SEOS horn speakers with custom Rogoz stands.

Cables from The Missing Link, Albedo, Gigawatt and KBL Sound.
    Power conditioning from Gigawatt.
Rack and stands from Rogoz Audio.

    Hi Robert. Welcome to AOS.

That's an interesting setup you have there. Some photos for the Gallery section would be good.

Tell us what music you play.

Ming Da & horns sounds good to me. I like Ming Da and use their MC-9 pre-amp myself.

You'll find plenty to interest you here.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Thanks for the warm welcome, I've put a few pics up as suggested.

I listen to a diverse range of Jazz, Funk, Folk, Electronica eg Bela Fleck, Fink, Branford Marsalis, Nordic jazz such as EST, Dead Can Dance, Royksopp, Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble, Steve Wilson/Porcupine Tree.

I just like music tbh .

Nice one regarding the MD pre, they're rather good, aren't they? The Cantabile monos are something else!
