I thought you might Barry. I think the Russian film brings out more of the elements surrounding the nature of the intelligence but I remember the film as being slightly sterile and matter of fact. Watched Pulp Fiction last night on bluray...quite enjoyed it and it was very funny but ...where was the plot..acting was top notch but cant see myself wanting to watch all 2 hours 40 minutes again.

Porridge (1979) Norman Stanley Fletcher played by Ronnie Barker has to orginise a football match. Richard Beckinsale died just before the film was finished alas, and a superb talent was lost to us.
The film was shot at HMP Chelmsford before it was returned to service after a fire. The film company admin offices were located in the prison hospital block.
