You want big Vu's a good one is the late 70's 'TA-F5A' that would fit the bill. I still think the early 70's models were best imho especaislly those 1/3rd size units..Thats a nice collectionAndre lol....but no BIG meters

Tapes are becoming silly priced these days. I have a few blanks lying around, but mostly have prerecorded ones. Still listen to them and enjoy it, but I still like minidiscs. they are damn near indestructable and can be re recorded so many times its not worth thinking about. Not analogue I know but damn handy. Not into portable file players. Maybe I should get into it???

I have approx 13 Sony minidiscs. Some friendly chap did the recordings for me a couple years ago....They sound pretty decent!
Can you recommend me a simple, but yet high quality, good sounding mini disc player just for playing? I don't bother with recording!
