Don't get many of them to the pound...

Even fewer to the monopoly money pounds you have up there! This close to the border theres still a few landlords won't take em. Best to exchange them at Berwick services I find.

I didn't realise they were a form of currency. Makes sense though!

i messaged this to ask if he had any details about the service that has recently been done. The reply was "It was basically checked over thoroughly by an ex arcam engineer and one of the inputs replaced "

seems a bit vague to me. Ive read about amps being advertised as recently serviced when all thats happened is blowing some dust out.

think that amp came out in late 90s so power caps should have been changed i would have thought if the guy was servicing it. 15 years or so can be enough. sounds like he had a duff input and got it replaced ...period.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Rare, rather large and nice, Wharfedale Kingsdale speakers near Gloucester. Ending very soon!

These are very beefy sounding speakers and a bit more refined than the earlier Rosedale.
