Look again. There's no BIN. Auction only.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The GL85 TT is just incidental to all this and not worth much 'cos it's horrible (I've actually seen a few of them with buckled platters for some reason).
Quite. I find it interesting how stuff like this can actually end up selling for more when the buyers think the seller doesn't know what they have... If you know what I mean ?

I've sold stuff in the past listing out in great detail exactly what it is & what needs doing to it to get it back to rights etc only for the buyer to return it saying its crap so I relist but change the description to a simple one saying "heres a piece of junk I found in a garage" & it sells for twice the original price & the buyer is over the moon

Then you get people trying it on...

But Technics are the best innit ? Not sure how so many of a certain age came to that conclusion but I've heard it many, many times. They didn't do marketing like Bose so what gives ? Is it all thanks to the SL1200

More fool him for using a dealer price for reference... Never mind the fact those were in better condition and had a worldwide shipping option. IMO his best shot at getting a decent price would be start at 99p.
