Just joking, in my usual bad taste way. They look very cute.

My poor old pooch is in the vet's at the moment. He got a thorn or splinter in a back foot about three weeks ago and it's had an abscess ever since. He's had several visits to the vet, but it hasn't healed, so he's having investigative surgery right now and the affected area will be cleaned out. Hopefully he should be able to come home later today. The bills are mounting, but I don't begrudge him. He's a sweet old chap.

Vet bills are pretty scary. We took the bunnies to get their lady bits done and it was £200, all I could think was I do love them but that is a nice pile of vinyl

Yup. I've had Tippy the Lurcher just under two years and so far he's cost me about £700 in vet bills. Not cheap to care properly for a pet these days. I spend a lot of time in the West Country and I've noticed charges there are quite a bit lower than here in London.

We found a fantastic vet, she didn't charge us for the first check up and nail clip and charged £30 less than she quoted to spay them both.

We are west country though.

Tippy is a very contented looking member of the family, hope all is well with him.

Her name is Mishu, but she was also given the nickname Pow Meow from a few of the younger family members. She was originally a street cat; found her as a toddler when she decided to peek her head into the house when I was doing the laundry years ago. Mishu is quite old now, but that doesn't stop how energetic and lively she is. She loves to play, and she keeps herself extremely clean. Many visitors quickly fall in love with her due to how accepting and playful she is. She loves people, which I've never seen in a cat before. Most shy away from people, she's quite the opposite. I definitely love her very much!

Our departed Freddie was a people cat, he always knew who wasn't a cat lover so always went up to them! Most got to like him as well.
