10", very similar to the Eaton 10" HPD chassis. You'll be happy to know that both units feature rubber surrounds and won't rot away.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I think it is the type of faux-finish that Marco objects to as opposed to faux-finishes in general. I agree with him that the 'Rosewood' effect looks particularly nasty.Unfortunately the finish on that PL-570 is also fake plastic vinyl veneer... I know 'cos I just sold one !

Indeed, Martin. It’s that shiny fake ‘rosewood’ I hate with a passion, often seen on Jap T/Ts, especially when it’s combined with gold bits - PUKE!!
I prefer turntables to look more ‘sober’/understated and less blingy. Each to his or her own, though!
