I've fancied one of those decks for a long time. That one looks like it just came out of the factory. Do you know its history?

Macca its in very good condition but does have a few chips in its paintwork which should touch up ok if not I can get it re sprayed ?.
I bought it form a chap who just buys and sells HIFI gear he got this one from a young lad whos farther had died and left his HIFI, they also discovered a brand new one and pioneer amplifier still in sealed boxes, he told me he sold the NOS turntable for 2K on ebay

I have just ordered 3 pieces of Alloy plate for spare arm boards, the board supplied was a 222mm rega mount fit.

So probably it was bought new back in the day and has been sat in the same system ever since. There is a HFW article from way back where NK renovates a couple of these decks, don't know if anyone recalls it?

Thanks , would be interested to read any articles you can find on this turntable ?
The corner scrapes have touched up perfectly with a Halfords Ford Graphite black metallic touch up pen kit
The deck is now singing beautifully with the SME 3009 Tone arm and Ortofon Kontrapunkt B cartridge, Paradise Phono Stage
