Fad my arse - best CD player I ever heard by a fair margin - providing it is the broadcast version which that one does appear to be. That's assuming you like neutrality in your cd player as opposed to something designed to sound like vinyl going through valves.Originally Posted by istari_knight

LOL - yes it is an excellent price. If I hadn't already spent the entire year's hi-fi budget by the end of February I would snap it up since my broadcast version isn't working and the other one I have needs mods to the power supplies before it will sound as good as the broadcast. I'm trying to be satisfied with less....I hoped you'd bite
