I like Grieg's chamber music - less popular than his orchestral works, but still well worth investigating, imo. String quartets, violin sonatas ....
I have this 3 CD set, and enjoy it a lot.

Wow. Bought in charity shop yesterday and blown away by it last night.
Kind of a mixture (in different sections) of Philip Glass and mediaeval chant. And it works well!
Followed by ....
Woo! Gives the Sparf / BIS recording a run for its money.

Apropos the Four Seasons - how would you rate the Pinnock/English Concert recording with The Drottingholm Consort's recording?

Similarly energetic, but less idiosyncratic. I suspect Standage/Pinnock is closer to Vivaldi's intentions, let's face it Sparf's interpretation is kind of weird! - I like them both.
