    The Winter Soldier

Excellent film if you like hero movies, good story, great acting and excellent action scenes. Goes a wee bit deeper into characters as well, so not as 2 dimensional as some of this type of thing can be.

    8 out of 10

Babylon 5 on Watch (Sky TV)

Just beginning a second run of all 5 seasons and what wonderful stories these are, well worth repeated viewing.

The whole story is a reworking of French history during the 100 year war + a very strong dose of Michael Scott Rohan's Forge in the Forest books and Dune is lurking in there too. Highly overrated in my opinion.

Each to their own, Neil. I think it's the best drama on TV and ranks with the all-time greats.

I forgot to add The Following and Mad Men to my list.

    +1 for babylon 5.
Watched it religiously when it was shown originally, still dip into it when the mood takes.
    Great characters well acted.

Story arc with the Shadow War one of the best in TV.

Yes indeed, I have all five seasons... watched the first three episodes last week. Its just about the only series where strange looking aliens don't just look stupid. Don't know how they managed it as some of them are pretty daft looking really!! Good acting I thought.
