Upcycling is a term for recycling by turning it into something new in some way. It's a real term been used for years in the retro furniture and retro clothing world (probably started in the clothing word first).
Anyone not regularly buying Elle Decor or such mags is probably out of the loop! I admit it, I look in Elle Decor in the shop from time to time... 90% of the time it's naff.

Well, yes. i'm aware that it is a word that some people use. And I'm also aware that similar f***wits use the term 'upskilling' instead of 'training'.
Why use a perfectly good word when you can make up a silly new one?
