No they don't. The A series tweeters are now unobtanium as I understand it. The F series do look similar but the drive units are not remotely comparable.

I like your thinkingI suspect they are a lot bigger than they look in the pictures. How big is your motor? having said that if you get there and there is not enough room you could always dump some of your other gear in a layby - the back seat for instanceThey are 40x60x34cm & 30kg each so quite large... Thats a 12" bass driver. The cars an Audi A3 so hardly the tardis !

I agree with James.
I'm not keen on the SL, which I believe was in production up until about 1980 if I recall. That Phillips tweeter is not very subtle. The previous K2 from the seventies has Goodmans own DT3 dome tweeter which is OK. I'm quite fond of the Magnum and Magister K2 variants, good honest old speakers with plenty of wellie. While you're looking at those check out the Wharfedale Dovedale III as well, similar design and just as good.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I think they were out the same time as the RB Series. I used to ogle longingly at Comet's ad (just a drawing. Not an actual photo.).
