    Dancing on the edge was brilliant I'll grant you. But that was made in 2012, before BBC TV drama was dismembered and split between Wales and Salford. Also, it was ghettoised on BBC 2, Tinker/Smiley were Beeb 1 products, mainstream stuff and that kind of quality was the norm in those days.

    Fair enough - but I wouldn't dismiss the Beeb yet.

    Not the first time I've heard this, and good SciFi series are woefully lacking these days. Will check it out!
