Mike, have you thought about getting one of the Micro Seiki arms, as used by RobbieGong (and I think also Tony), shown here: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...e-tech-gallery
I reckon it's probably 80-90% as good as a 212D, at a fraction of the price... It'll certainly suit the Techy very well and should take an SPU (although you may need Steve to make you a heavier counterweight balance).
