Backtracking a bit..........did you have anything to do with the phono stage in the Musical Fidelity A100??
If so, you are a little geniusI have the A100 in one of the bedrooms driving some Kef101s. Its usually fed by FM4 or a CD player but as I have just received a Pioneer PL112D to play with, it seemed a good opportunity to try the phono input for the first time.
Bloody brilliant. The deck may not be top end but it sings its little heart out in this system.
I must be getting old. I reckon I could live quite happily with a system as musical as this, it gets the basics so right.
