I hope this is the right place for this question.can anyone tell me if the treble control knobs are just a push fit.I have tried to remove mine but they won't budge I would hate to break them .

I use Monitor Reds, which don't use treble controls. I presume you have Golds?

Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp, fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.
Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.
Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.
Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

Good question - I took the whole assembly out for contact cleaning and did not remove the knobs.
I would expect they are.
Let us know what you find out...
