    Nice & chunky http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/B-O-BANG-A...item3cd784bd22

Nobsound what a name ! Its a rebranded Yaqin VK1200, I tried one about 3 years ago & it was a pile of crap comfortably outperformed by budget 90's amps from Nad/Sony/Marantz et al.

I am still NOT convinced these are proper Klipsch La Scalas

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VERY-Speci...item5af69b1e80

I may be wrong but I have never seen La Scalas like these. I heard the proper La Scala's MK II's once and they left a real impression on me and if I had the room for a pair I'd get a pair tomorrow.....

A pair of Tannoy Devons for £700?

Is this an example of the ever rising values of older Tannoys or is this seller just being greedy. A pair of the bigger (and better) Cheviots from the same series is maybe worth £550 to £700 these days, so why so much for the Devons. I had a pair briefly and have to say they are my least favourite Tannoys out of the HPDs I've owned.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The 'HA10' is quite thin on the ground. These can be powered from the 'A60' aswell as outboard PSU..

I realise the quoted frequency range of a speaker system isn't indicative of how it will sound but considering the La Scala contains a 15" woofer, a bottom end which rolls off at 53hz is not all that impressive

They're horn loaded, Dave. You need enormous horns to go deep in the bass and they are relatively small enclosures. Don't expect earth shattering vibes. They will kick you in the chest, though.
