Interesting. I haven't the foggiest if original tweeters can be found, but I'm sure a suitable alternative should be available. These have to be worth getting at that money (they'd probably take an offer anyway). I'm due down there in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure they'd be for me, they're huge and weigh about the same as a small car.

That was my thought initially until I tried to lift one ! No chance of fitting them both in an A3 with a child in the back

From the one I tried to lift I would guess they weigh around 50kg each.

I know Helston well.

My poor old mum passed away in the Cottage Hospital a few years ago. Anyway, on a happier note my brother lives in Gillan near Manaccan. As I say, I'm due there soon for a spell. Got plenty of family and friends in the Lizard area. Any chance of a listen to your system and a cuppa?

Geoff please don't think me rude if I say not at the moment. The mother in law passed away recently & its been pretty hard going at home... Ordinarily you'd be more than welcome & if your down again in future then by all means, just not at the moment

I think Frank [Effem] lives on the Lizard ? I had hoped to attend a bake off at his place a few years back & buy Jerry's SD Acoustics SD1's... Alas it wasn't to be.
