More like 33 years ago.. It's in bad condition but if you don't mind loosing all the printing on the front it could be refinished.. You never see the matching '730' pre amps turn up tho!

I've been looking for a portable DAB radio, mainly to keep me occupied in the kitchen with BBC 6 Music. I just got a Pure Evoke 1S, which is going for £57 incl. P&P (manufacturer refurbished, 'as new' condition). RRP is £99.

Hacker, Roberts and B&O made some wonderful sounding portable radios. Wouldn't touch the new digital radios with a barge pole!

I'd still use a hacker or roberts.Shame you can't magically get them to play 6 music.

+1 I have a Roberts 'RM33' i love it the wooden cabinet has finger joints just like the Quad '33'/'FM3' sleeve does..
