You're right. I'd forgotten about the 235,the did use a B200, nice speaker, as were all the seventies MS jobs.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I wish you'd post a link Shane. Saves a lot of bother, but I'll have a look.

Don't think so Shane. I've had three pairs of IIILZ Tannoys and they aren't great. Very limited bottom end, unruly top, mid colourations. Transparency and imaging was very good, but that was all. Way over rated and seriously overpriced these days.

Oh come on! This is getting silly, £600 for a pair of Tannoy Eatons?

Nice as they are, the going rate is £350/400, unless scarcity has suddenly launched them upwards.

More loony prices and bidding. A Rogers Cadet II pre & power set, not perfect and I bet the MM input module is missing, bid up to £509 and half a day to go? Nuts!

I've had several. They were pleasant enough, but not a patch on a Leak Stereo 20, which you could buy for not much more.

Here we go, this is more like it! Klipsch La Scala horn speakers in Huntingdon, only bid up to £200 so far (they'll rocket)!

I just can't take the cuppy colourations. The best that could be said for the La Scala is that it goes loud!
