these are a bit of a bargain if anyone lives nearby , 1978 sb-x5 phase linear , good solid bass with detailed top end ,, the only reason i am not buying them is the missus has said "no more speakers" and i already have a pair of these as my mains

    Default technics

i have 3 pairs of them , 2 x uk spec 1 x pair from dubai so not uk spec ,, they have different crossovers and are rated at a 91db efficiency , the uk spec are 89db eficiency , they are quite an impressive speaker , in my opinion they have a good warm sound not at all harsh like a lot of jap stuff , i run mine on a technics su-7700 ,,,they match well with this amp and give very nice lows i also have the sb-x1 same range but the babies and 2 way sealed cabinet again very nice incredible bass for their size.

did you buy them?? ,if you did let me know what you think , they are very cheap at £40 i bought my last pair for £160

More daft pricing. £260 for an MF, X-PSU? I expect somebody will want badly enough.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
