It does say that its a replacement for the stock op-amp the NE5532 but you know better than me. Very much an acedemic question as I dont think anyone will be buying.

I read this thread from the start through page 17 and then jumped to 72 and read on.
Ooomph, so many numbers.
But from what I gathered, for me as a complete novice, it would probably be best, to get some (how many?) LM4562NA, remove the existing pieces (which sit where?) and push in the new ones.
Correct? No soldering or mounting on carrier boards, etc?
Problem is that I have no idea what to take out. Does anyone have clear before-and-after pix and perhaps real simple instructions as to how to proceed, without ruining my brand new 7520?
This sounds like fun!

Ok with not having it on Betamax nowadays
That looks similar to these:

$25USD each - I have 2 of these (Earth and Moon) and they are very nice sounding. Worth the money IMHO.
I read somewhere else that this guy helped design the first gen Burson ones. Don't know how true that is.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have not tried these in the Beresford DAC!

@ Covenant
Thanks.
I use the fixed line-out for my STAX (which have their own amplification, of course) and the front-panel headphone jack for AKG701.
Furthermore, I might want a pair of powered monitors (for ambient background).
Should I get two then?
