I can report a pleasant and straightforward transaction with Paul (Reffc).

The mains regenerator was as advertised, and packed properly. I got a nice cup of tea and, more importantly, a chance to listen to Paul's Tannoys.

These are obviously a labour of love and are as beautiful to look at as they are to listen to. Paul has designed the cabinets himself and the cabinet work is exquisite. But the sound is to die for! He has spent hundred of hours voicing the speakers and I was treated to both LP and CD. I know "The Wall" by Pink Floyd well but there was stuff I was hearing for the first time. We also listened to some organ music and I have never heard a set of speakers which could handle the swells and resonances as well as this pair. So my top tip to anyone buying from Paul in future is to make the journey to pick up in person. Persuade him to make you a cuppa and put some music on. Just sit back and listen for yourselves.

I really am glad I decided to go and pick the regenerator up, rather than get a mate who has family locally swing by.
