Indeed... I was very disappointed to hear of Martin's experience with Scott, as earlier in this thread I'd recommended his services, after having taken delivery of a copy of the new Doors vinyl box set and experienced excellent service from him, so the thought that my recommendation may have led to Martin, or anyone else's disappointment, after having also bought from Scott, is something that really frustrates and annoys me.

Anyway, hopefully highlighting this situation will encourage Scott to be more organised and professional in future. If not, we may consider removing his trade account, as we demand the highest standards of customer service at all times from our trade members.

Hopefully Scott will comment and offer some explanation in due course, and that his levels of customer service falling way below the standards we expect on AoS, was just a blip, and ensure that in future things will improve.

    Marco.

Purchased an Arcam Alpha 10P from Kev.

Kev packed my Arcam 10P to a very high standard. All looking good and most importantly working well.

    Good sale and communications.

    Decent guy to deal with.

Happy to deal with Kev again.

    Cheers!!!

I ordered 13 SACDs on 15th April and since then have received every excuse as to why they never arrived. I asked repeatedly for shipping details and tracking number and received evasive replies. I was told repeatedly that they were shipped (apparently in two packages) but never saw them and never received any hard information such that I could attempt to trace them.

When I had finally had enough and asked for my money to be returned on 20th May it took a further 10 days and a threat of legal action to receive the funds back into my account. Again I had the same excuses, including 'the funds never left my account', whatever that means.

All of this could be forgivable if Scott's communications were good, but sadly I had to do all the chasing and phoning at every step of the process. I am patient and can forgive a start-up business a few hiccups, but this went very much further than that.

I cannot in all honesty recommend Scott's business and will not be using him again.

Sorry for letting you down martin , the two orders you placed with me One you recieved okay , 2nd order my carrier lost the parcel even with tracking & insurance ,they still to this day can,t trace or find the parcel
I did send a full refund as you did mention on the 2nd order

I have been in wholesale distribution for 25years & do take customer satisfaction very highly indeed
But unfortunately things outside my control in this case the carrier get things wrong

Apologies for the late response! Turntable shelf arrived well packed and in good time, the gravity on it functions perfectly and my turntable has remained where I put it on there since I put it there ;-) so all good!

Went to sunny Portsmouth today to meet with Bev (ninanina) and listen to her Klipsch she had for sale. Already set up when I got there and it was a very relaxed and pleasant experience. We did the deal and they are now mine. I will post a review in due course. Have a good holiday Bev. Rob.
