The owner lives very close to me, so perhaps I ought to get in touch with the seller and go and have a look at them?
Despite living very happily with electrostatic speakers for over forty years, I wouldn't want these. From their looks they appear to be an omni-directional design - and I don't like omni-directional speakers.
Interesting idea though. Reminds me of some of the Jordan Watts speakers of the late '60s, that were "disguised" to look like ceramic pots!
