    Default North East Coast sunrises

If imageshack behaves for a change (it seems fond of losing my pictures for some reason), these are a few snaps I've taken over the last couple of years when its been too early to put the hifi on. I have bursts when I'm obsessed with taking photos and get almost competent then have a few months where I never pick up the camera and forget everything, which is what's happening right now.
    (And I'm a, erm, Klown with a Konica(-Minolta).)

North Berwick statue (not to be confused with the Berwick further south)

Berwick (the Berwick on the borders this time) harbour

    Lindisfarne Castle

    Bamburgh Castle seen from Lindisfarne

"The Couple" sculpture, just north of Newcastle

St Mary's Walkway, near Whitley Bay

    South Shields Groyne lighthouse

    Sunderland, Roker Pier

    Teesside

    Saltburn near Whitby

    Hi Spod

Nice photo's. The Sunset looks like it is setting just about where I currently work. Saltburn is a couple of miles from my home.

P.S. Is that a plane or a UFO ablove the smoke plume?

    My System:
Power: Belkin PF40, Custom.hifi.cables Hydra and DC PSUs.
Sources: Self built HTPC with Xonar ST sound card, NAD T585 multi disc player, Sony BDP-S350, Squeezebox Touch, Techncs SL1210 (mod'd) + Nagaoka MP30, Thomson Sky HD box.
    Amps etc.: 2 x Mini-T amps, MF-X10D Valve buffer clone, StanDAC 7520/Caiman (mod'd).
Speakers: Mission 774s with added super tweeters
Cables: best I can afford and likely to change except Homar's RF attenuated co-ax's and Mark Grant USB and HDMI cables. I also like silver i/cs and speaker cable.

Cheers for the comments all. The trick is to get up ludicrously early on sunny days in winter, nature supplies the colours!

A jet - in my twisted imagination I always think of it as a bomber flying away having caused the "explosion" below - but I am very, very twisted!

A projector? I'm jealous - I've never seen them bigger than my screen! Must try hijacking a projector from work one day!
