Dear Sr. Stan
I am interested in working with a company in Spain that has more than 11 years working HIFI Sound* and would like to show them your DAC Beresford competitive, which is why I have made some questions about possible comparisons with other dac today, as PS Nuwave and Shiit Bifrost, but if you have not been able to make no problems in any case seems to have magnified your DAC price and quality.
Kindly, Sergio.

I totally support to introduce a way to deactivate "auto mode". Switching from input 4 to 3 requires several fast pushes to stop the auto scan feature from starting its auto switching. However, I shall think about how to make it possible to switch the auto function ON/OFF in an alternative manner.
Primary . . . . SBT > Beresford Bushmaster DAC > Alex Ederer 300B SE> Klipsch RF-7 (102db) / AKG K-701
Secondary . SBT > Beresford Caiman > Trends Audio TA10.1 > Castle Howard S3 (89db)
Tertiary . . . .Workstation PC SPDIF (Toslink) ASIO > Beresford TC-7510 MK III > Kingrex T20U+PSU > Klipsch RB-25 (94db)
Agreed, I'd rather have manual enabled at all times.
Stan has performed a hack to the firmware which keeps the BM in manual mode as I found auto to be a complete PITA...
Stan has just sent me revised firmware which sorted a no-lock issue I had with my Sky HD box. Ah well, it's not that important.
Mana Acoustics Racks / Bright Star IsoNodes Decoupling >> Allo DigiOne Player >> Pedja Rogic's Audial Model S DAC + Pioneer PL-71 turntable / Vista Audio phono-1 mk II / Denon PCL-5 headshell / Reson Reca >> LFD DLS >> LFD PA2M (SE) >> Royd RR3s.

Stan, somwhere you said, that in the fall of 2012 or in the beginning of 2013 will be the new reincarnation of Bushmaster with USB input. Any news to expect?
Have other BM owners had issues with the DAC not locking onto signals coming into the coaxial inputs or perhaps not working correctly on any input? The last issue presents as no output from the DAC despite active data being fed to the inputs. When the DAC is in this state, turning the volume up beyond the 12 o'clock position on the amp reveals a gentle hum and soft digital hash which isn't present when it is operating normally. The last time this happened the BM failed to recover from it and I had to return it to Stan so that he could sort it out. It happened again last night however this time I was able to recover from the situation by turning the unit off and back on again, a procedure that did not work on the previous occasion. I'd just like to know whether anyone else has experienced this issue?
