The Technics SL1200s were in excellent condition, paid £430 for them & a mixer thingy but have since sold them to a couple of forum members & gone back to using my trusty old QLA7.

I've been thinking of doing that with wonderful CDs when I pick up the 2nd and 3rd versions I can't bear to see going so cheap

Another permutation, Quad driving the Gales (don't think this one will last long - sounds a bit 'woolly' at times) Best speakers for the Quad have been the little Diamonds in the kitchen.

Definitely prefer the sound of the Ruarks being driven by the Yamaha rather than the Musical Fidelity B1

Now the weathers cheered up a bit and I'm at a loose end off work waiting for the results of a blood test (don't ask) & I had some spare bits of kit thought I'd put a conservatory system together

Quality CD player you have there (i think it is the same as the one i have) it's getting on a bit but it still sounds bloody good!

That is a bloody bargain! This post had just made me realise how long i have had that unit.....
