Who remembers the High Efficiency Yamaha 'NS230' speaker from the mid 70's?

I remember in the late '70s Yamaha brought out an amplifier and speaker pairing that had to be used together (I think).
I'm pretty sure the amp had a plug-in board that matched the model of speaker used and there was a few models in the range. They were servo-driven.
