Thats the ones! Easily my favorite gear out of everything I've had... Haven't seen another pair for sale in the UK since

I lost most of my pictures when my external hdd failed last year so I've "borrowed" one off the net, they look the same but mine had a headphone socket.

It is in full working order, however the volume/gain variable resistor needs replacing as there are gaps in the control and make the amp unstable. Also there is some mains hum which can be heard with the music, so I suspect a capacitor needs replacing. These are only minor repairs which should take very little time to correct. The amp is well laid out and have photgraphed the inside . It is a bit dusty on the inside so could do with a clean.

In other words "There's all sorts wrong with it, it's humming like Sizewell B and it needs sand blasting to get all the shite off it". But apart from that it's brilliant.
I love that type of ad. You have to admire their inventiveness, I think. That and the "Probably an easy fix" ones. You just - KNOW - that it's going to be anything but.

How much did they go for ? I doubt I could afford another one now... not off eBay anyway! This last 6 months I've seen some proper rubbish go for inflated prices it just keeps getting worse

I bought some SD Acoustics speakers off him last year, went to collect them expecting a shop but it turns out he sells the stuff out of his living room... Keeps overheads down I suppose
