    Martin,
"veiled threat"?, "inflamatory comments"?, "targetting"?, "open challenge"?
All the above phrases I genuinely just do not recognise, sorry.
Can I assure Mods in particular and the public at large that none of my posts were made with any such intention.
It appears that I have a problem with the English language in that statements that I make with a completely neutral intention are being interpreted in a totally different manner, in other words I am being completely misunderstood, and by at least two people. I accept that that being the case, the fault is mine, I am not communicating effectively, indeed I am irritating the very people I am trying to communicate with. Therefore I am at fault and hold my hand up - mia culpa, no question!!
I will not withdraw any of my comments as I made them sincerely, but I accept that I have failed miserably to get my point across, so I would ask you and Chris to accept my apology and sincere assurance that nothing I posted was intended as fiittng any of the above phrases.
I communicate regularly by PM and e-mail with other members of this forum and two others and have never (to my knowledge) upset anyone unintentionally with my choice of words so if I have sadly managed to achieve this here I can only profusely apologise and ask for a little more tolerance and understanding in future.
Hopefully this post will be taken at face value rather than being attributed with unintended motives or thoughts.
    Sincerely,
    Dave
    DaveK.

    My System:
Power: Belkin PF40, Custom.hifi.cables Hydra and DC PSUs.
Sources: Self built HTPC with Xonar ST sound card, NAD T585 multi disc player, Sony BDP-S350, Squeezebox Touch, Techncs SL1210 (mod'd) + Nagaoka MP30, Thomson Sky HD box.
    Amps etc.: 2 x Mini-T amps, MF-X10D Valve buffer clone, StanDAC 7520/Caiman (mod'd).
Speakers: Mission 774s with added super tweeters
Cables: best I can afford and likely to change except Homar's RF attenuated co-ax's and Mark Grant USB and HDMI cables. I also like silver i/cs and speaker cable.

I just use my Outlook calendar with a category colour code for gigs and a reminder set. I think most calendars will do that these days.

    Definitely the best way Martin

    Google Calender handles mine.

I don't know how many tickets are left, but Neil Young is coming to the UK with the Horse!
I was expecting this & was keeping an ear close to the ground all through October & November. Somehow, I dropped the ball and only spotted this today.
Managed to snaffle some tickets for the Brum gig though!

Neil Young & Crazy Horse will play:

Newcastle - Metro Radio Arena (June 10, 2013)
    Birmingham - LG Arena (11)
    Glasgow - SECC (13)
    London - O2 Arena (17)

Pleased to be of service Sire
I've just booked tickets for the Holmfirth gig.

I first became aware of Robben Ford in the early 1990s, and have been a fan of his since then.

I only discovered him around 5 or 6 years ago, not sure where, but I think it was Bob Harris on his Saturday night show.

London is looking likely for me.
