    And was probably the only hifi knowledgable person there at the clearance sale.. that's how many hifi businesses work, getting secondhand gear for cheap from people who don't value it. Then they pass on to those who do.

    It's part of the dedication of making hifi selling a business that you spend your time going to the auctions etc.

    there's a constant stream of people dying, some of whom may have picked up the nice vintage gear only recently from eBay, so the cycle continues and there is profit to be made (until it is all exported abroad).
