Someone might just get lucky here. The Q&A might raise the sellers hope a little too much as although these have Altec 811 horns, the majority had Utah drivers rather than Altec. The Utah drivers are not too bad though.
If the winner of the auction is very lucky they might end up with some Altec 416 & 802 drivers
I'd go for them but Bath is a little too far to be lugging them home from.

I may be wrong, but I think these were the first commercial speakers to have a bi-wire type connection arrangement - only 3 binding posts though - 2 earth terminals.

Cheap pair of Tannoy Ardens (15" HPD) in Lancashire, looking in nice condition (one driver appears to have a cracked rear cover, no big deal).
